Parties and party rates

Your customers and suppliers, and the rate each one pays for each material.

#Parties

Open Masters → Parties. A party is a customer or a supplier.

Press Add and fill in the name, city, phone and, if the party has them, GSTIN and PAN. Credit limit records how much credit the party is allowed.

Tip

Keep one entry for walk-in customers (for example Cash) and use it for cash sales.

#Party rates

Open Masters → Party Rates, choose a party and set, for each material:

  • This party's rate: the rate this party pays.
  • Deduction / Qtl: an amount taken off that rate for every quintal.
  • Billed rate (shown for you) = rate − deduction.

Rates for one party. Materials with nothing set are billed at the standard rate.

Press Save on a row to keep it, or Clear to go back to the standard rate. When you bill a sale for this party, rate and deduction fill in automatically.
